Our services include wholesale product delivery, retail services, marketing programs and business advisory services.
We are currently looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join the API team. The Internal Communications Manager will support the delivery of the internal communications plan, which encompasses all of API's businesses and our robust growth culture.
Working closely with the Head of Internal Communications, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, accurate and timely strategic and tactical communications to API employees, as well as amplifying good news stories across the enterprise. You will be a skilled communicator and planner, adept at managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
**About the Role**:
**The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to**:
- Contribute to the development of APIs overarching communications strategy and tactical plan
- Manage the content plan and governance of Connect, API's intranet
- Work cross-functionally with each API business to promote relevant initiatives
- Advise and assist stakeholders with copywriting, editing and developing presentations
- Manage key engagement activities including Roadshows and Town Hall sessions
- Compile analytic reporting and insights for communications
- Drive the communication and engagement of API's reward and recognition program 'We Love Your Work'
- Work with the Head of Internal Communications to review, update, relaunch and maintain the API website
- Manage daily media monitoring and API's communications inbox
- Ensure all templates, logos and other collateral are current and communicated to the business
- Promote API's Employee Value Proposition through internal and external platforms
- Communicate and promote occupational safety and wellbeing policies and procedures
- Drive the Sisterhood Foundation across the enterprise
**About you**:
- Preferably five years' experience in a Communications role
- Have impeccable attention to detail and be highly organised
- Excellent writing and proofreading ability
- Experience working cross functionally in a large, complex organisation
- High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build strategic working relationships with a
- diverse range of people
- Able to synthesise large volumes of complex information and ensure effective interpretation, in order to communicate to teams
- Ability to work alone and in a team, as well as manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Proficient in shooting video content and using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Indesign desirable
**Education / Qualifications:
- Degree or Tertiary Qualification in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, or related discipline
- Minimum three years' experience in a similar role
