About the role
The Future Student Advisor provides friendly, knowledgeable and student‐centred guidance to prospective students considering study at the University of New England. Acting as one of the first points of contact for many future students, this role helps individuals explore their options, understand pathways and make confident decisions about their education journey.
You'll be working across our telephony, digital and offline channels, supporting students through the enquiry, application and enrol stages. You'll ensure they receive clear advice, timely follow‐ups and a welcoming experience at every interaction. Operating with a strong degree of judgement and initiative, the role plays an important part in shaping a positive first impression of UNE and supporting prospective students to take the next step toward enrolment.
The Future Student Advisor works closely with Faculties, Marketing and Student Journey teams to ensure information is accurate, communication is consistent and future students experience a seamless transition from enquiry to application.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring strong customer‐service and advisory capability, with the ability to provide accurate, timely and consistent information to a diverse range of people (students, parents, schools and the wider community). You will be comfortable managing priorities, maintaining high‐quality records and case notes in relevant systems, and applying policies and procedures with sound judgement, escalating non‐routine matters when required.
You will also demonstrate confidence working with digital tools and systems, and readiness to use AI and digital technology in the workplace to support service delivery and continuous improvement.
