Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with Fleet Maintenance Supervisor and National Fleet and Maintenance Manager to identify areas for improvement in workshop and fleet maintenance activities.
* Coordinate tasks such as routine maintenance, breakdowns, and one-off inspections for both yourself and other mechanics/apprentices, providing job cards and service sheets.
* Ensure that all scheduled maintenance is completed to the required standards within specified deadlines according to ETS policies and procedures.
* Supervise workshop activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe completion of work.
* Manage weekly parts ordering for maintenance and repairs.
* Work on the tools, undertaking servicing & maintenance of trucks & equipment.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant mechanical trade experience.
* Experience with diesel trucks, hydraulic systems, and vegetation maintenance equipment (EWP's, utes, chippers).
* Strong mechanical and hydraulic technical expertise.
* Proven team supervision and leadership abilities.
* Excellent communication skills with a strong safety focus.
$120K package + super, vehicle, and phone.
Optional monthly RDO and provided uniform/PPE.
