Role
We are seeking a support worker to assist a female participant in West Footscray. The participant is a mid‐20s female with ASD and PTSD experiencing anxiety and depression. The support worker will aid with community access, appointments, meal preparation, cooking, laundry, tidying, making the bed, nature walks, and pet grooming for her dogs and cats.
Responsibilities
* Assist with community access and attending appointments
* Help with meal preparation and cooking
* Support laundry, cleaning and tidying
* Make and maintain bedding
* Organise and accompany nature walks
* Assist with pet grooming for dogs and cats
Qualifications & Experience
* Knowledge or experience with neuro‐developmental disorders, psychosocial or physical disabilities
* Preferred NDIS Worker Screening ID
* First Aid Certificate (within the past 3 years)
* CPR Certificate (within past 12 months)
* Working with Children's Check (preferred)
* Driver's Licence and fully insured car (required)
Schedule & Pay
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $39.97 – $50.54 per hour
Shifts: 9am‐11am or 3pm‐5pm, Monday‐Sunday. Choose preferred shift.
