The Position
* Leading from the front, setting the standard for all kitchen staff
* Recruiting, inducting and training a group of skilled passionate individuals
* Work in all areas of the kitchen
* Ensuring rigorous adherence to compliance and safety standards for team members
* Be responsible for all ordering and stock control
* Complete weekly stock takes
* Process weekly kitchen invoices
* Managing food and labour costs in relation to revenue, and implementing strategies to achieve business targets
* Maintaining a high standard of kitchen cleanliness using weekly cleaning rosters
* Ensure our customer expectations are exceeded at every interaction
* Reporting to the Venue Manager and Group Operations Manager and other relevant head office shared services

The Challenge
Re-launch the existing hospitality venue with the help of the new owners, with a change in direction.
The early days will involve recruiting for all kitchen roles, so this is an exciting opportunity to build and train a team, to help you create the best new hospitality venue in the Maryborough region.
This is a hands on role, you will be required to cook, as well as manager all kitchen staff.
