We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic CSSD Sterilisation Technician to join our clinical team on a casual basis. Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sterilise, inspect and package surgical instruments
- Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to
- Manage documentation
- Ensure equipment and stock are available for perioperative staff
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across the hospital
About You
- Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilising Services
- Proven experience in a hospital CSSD environment
- Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound working knowledge of AS 5369:2023 and Infection Control standards
- Demonstrated ability to organise the sterilisation needs of the operating and procedure room requirements
