Territory Manager – Companion Animal – NSW Sydney East & Northern Beaches
We're on the lookout for an energized, driven, and relationship‐focused sales professional to join our dynamic Animal Health team. In this role you will manage and grow a high‐potential territory covering the Sydney Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, and up to Coffs Harbour.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, manage, and monitor territory sales and expenditure budgets.
* Conduct customer calls and visits to build and maintain constructive business relationships.
* Promote the Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health product range using technical information, promotional material, and marketing campaigns.
* Negotiate and gain customer commitment to product orders.
* Address adverse events, enquiries, and issues ensuring they are attended to by appropriate persons.
* Maintain Veeva CRM system to a high standard, ensuring accurate customer records and interaction entries.
* Complete administrative requirements accurately and timely.
* Identify personal development needs through self‐assessment.
* Represent BIAH as a leading animal health business, upholding company policies and legal regulations.
* Engage with customers at conferences, trade fairs, symposiums, exhibitions, and other meetings.
* Develop territory management plans to identify key customers and execute technical and marketing campaigns for optimal market coverage.
* Build relationships with wholesalers/distributors to maximize product referrals and promotion.
* Plan, coordinate, and generate realistic, innovative, and beneficial local activities and events.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Higher education will be well regarded.
* Sales experience and commercial acumen highly regarded.
* Strong relationship‐building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to negotiate, influence, and persuade customers.
* Effective communication of technical information.
* Self‐motivated with a desire to succeed.
* Effective planning and time management.
* Industry experience desirable, but not essential.
Employment Details
* Full‐time, permanent, field‐based position reporting to NSW Regional Sales Manager.
* Based in Sydney; may require travel up to one week in five.
