The Role
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner and sitting within the NFP/NDIS Business Unit, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in a commercially focused role that directly supports strategic decision-making.
In this role, you’ll provide meaningful revenue and operational analysis to help drive better business outcomes. You'll work closely with the Finance Business Partner and have exposure to senior leaders, supporting them with data-driven insights, reporting, and financial processes.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Assisting in the preparation and communication of regular performance reports
* Supporting the Finance Business Partner with business and industry analysis to inform strategy
* Contributing to the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
* Assisting with cost modelling and business case development
* Maintaining and updating financial models
* Preparing and posting journals, accruals, and other entries as part of the month-end close process
* Supporting the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis
* Collaborating with teams outside of finance to present findings and provide commentary
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to their implementation
* Supporting ad hoc analysis and project work as required
The Person
You are a commercially focused individual who is committed to making a difference and driving improved outcomes for the organisation you work with. Ideally, you will have a proven background in finance, particularly in Commercial Analyst or Management Accounting roles with a business partnering focus. With intermediate to advanced Excel skills, your outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities enable you to build trust and develop strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The ability to work autonomously and think on your feet is also essential for success in this role.
