We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate VR GPs to join various Aged Care facilities.
This role offers a unique blend of telehealth and face-to-face consultations, focusing on the monitoring and assessment of elderly patients.
About the Role:
Gain experience in both telehealth and in-person consultations, which can enrich your clinical practice and adaptability. The role will allow you to work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses and other healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative approach to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Telehealth Consultations: Conduct virtual consultations using Microsoft Teams for residents in aged care facilities.
* Face-to-Face Visits: Travel to the aged care facility approximately once a month to perform on-site assessments and care.
* Preparation: Verify Teams links for consultations, access and review NH's IT systems, and examine previous consultation notes.
* Consultation Execution: Address pending results, carry out consultations, complete required paperwork, and collaborate with the nursing staff.
* Documentation: Ensure all paperwork is accurately completed, signed, and sent to the nursing staff.
SALARY/BENEFITS:
* Contracts: $180-$275+GST per hour for VR GPs on a casual contract position - hourly rate depending on locations
