We're looking for an experienced Brand and Design Advisor to lead the application and evolution of our brand across print, digital, signage, campaigns and publications. This part-time role (four days per week) is perfect for a skilled designer who enjoys variety, values good design and wants their work to make a genuine difference in the community.

About the Role
The Brand and Design Advisor plays a key role in shaping how Council is seen, understood and experienced by the community through high-quality, consistent and thoughtful visual communication. You'll provide specialist design expertise and brand advice across a wide range of projects and teams, ensuring our visual communications are professional, accessible and aligned with our brand. This includes hands-on graphic design work, managing Council's style guides and brand systems, supporting staff to apply the brand correctly, and administering our online design platform. This is a role for someone who enjoys both creating great design and helping others do the same - a person who can think strategically about brand while also delivering practical, high-quality design outputs.
Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone with:
Strong graphic design experience across print, digital and publication design
Experience in brand management and applying brand consistently across diverse materials
Confidence using professional design software and working within brand guidelines
Experience managing multiple projects and working with a wide range of stakeholders
An understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles
The ability to provide design advice, training and support to others
Experience working with design systems or online template platforms (desirable)
