BOOKKEEPER WANTED
For Large Charity Organisation in Caboolture
Caboolture Historical Village is a living history museum with over 70 vintage buildings and an array of artifacts on display. It is situated on 12 acres of land just north of the Caboolture town centre. It is listed as one of the top tourist destinations in the region.
We are in need of a Finance Hero and this position would suit a semi-retired Accountant/Bookkeeper. We are not averse to training a young beginner who is bright, good with figures and has a mind that is greedy for knowledge.
Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Familiarity with MYOB is a prerequisite for this position, as the chosen cadidate will be responsible for their own data entry.
Applicants must have a minimum of 1+ years usage experience with MYOB software.
* The position calls for a 10-12 hour week performed over 2 or 3 days.
* A current Police check will be required for the successful applicant.
* A Blue Card (Working With children) is mandatory for this position. (We can help you apply for one if you haven't got one)
* Familiarity with a "Not For Profit" entity would be advantageous as you will be responsible for presentation of our financial records to our Auditors.
* Must have the ability to work with our Treasurer and other Office Bearers, as well as our volunteers, and have a happy but dedicated work demeanour.
* Our staff consists mainly of volunteers who perform various functions in support of our growing attraction.
* Australian work rights are required for this position.
