We are looking for a dedicated Casual Baker to join our team in 2026. This role is ideal for a professional baker who excels in dough production and prefers an afternoon shift in a focused environment.
The Role:
Hours: 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Schedule: Casual, 3–4 days per week
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rates (commensurate with skill and experience) in line with the Fair Work Ombudsman standards.
Key Duties:
* Baking and finishing a variety of wholesale breads & pastries.
* Managing dough fermentation, shaping, and precise oven temperatures.
* Preparing high-quality goods, ensuring consistency across all batches.
* Maintaining a clean, organized workplace and assisting with evening prep.
* Ensuring all wholesale orders are fulfilled accurately before the end of the shift.
What we are looking for:
* Minimum 1 years of experience in baking bread & pastries.
* Proven experience in a commercial or wholesale bakery kitchen.
* Strong technical foundation in dough handling and fermentation.
* The reliability to maintain a consistent 3:00 pm start time.
* A quality-first mindset with a focus on precision and detail.
