About the role
Wharf Bar and Restaurant at Ballina is seeking an experienced Senior Restaurant Manager to join our team in Ballina, NSW 2478. This is a full-time position that will see you leading our front-of-house operations and ensuring exceptional customer service and dining experiences.
What you'll be doing
* Oversee and manage all front-of-house operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training
* Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction by monitoring service quality and resolving any issues that may arise
* Implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitability, such as menu optimisation and effective table management
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between front and back of house
* Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
* Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business and help drive continuous improvement
What we're looking for
* Significant experience (1+ years) in a restaurant management role, preferably in a similar hospitality setting
* Proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer service
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle challenges as they arise
* Thorough understanding of food and beverage operations, inventory management, and financial reporting
* Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing a memorable dining experience
