Registered Midwife Maternity role at

, Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH). Positions are rotational, working a rotating roster across Antenatal Clinics, Birth Unit, Maternity Unit and Midwifery in the Home, with the opportunity to rotate through the RNSH Midwifery Group Practice managing a caseload of women. There are permanent positions available.

What you'll be doing
To provide quality, woman-centred, effective, evidence-based midwifery care in accordance with the National Competency Standards for the Midwife. The midwife will consult and liaise with obstetric, medical and other appropriate staff as per guidelines when deviations from the norm are identified.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Selection criteria
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a high level of written and verbal skills with both patients and colleagues
Recent experience and competency to practise as a midwife in antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal care, lactation and infant feeding
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
Current unrestricted NSW Drivers licence
