About the role:
The Project Coordinator is accountable for ensuring that all aspects of project coordination from proposals and estimates to delivery are managed effectively, delivering projects on time, within budget and to the appropriate specifications as agreed in scope.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the delivery of projects to ensure on time and within budget delivery.
• Prepare project reports to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Coordinate overhauls inspection plan ensuring contract variations are adequately proposed and planned for incorporation.
• Raise requisitions and POs for the procurement of parts.
• Manage and monitor schedule, costs, and quality for subcontracts arrangements for the duration of the project.
• Monitor costs as the project progresses.
• Manage and update Gantt charts to generate reports for labour forecasting.
• Co-ordinate the completion, lodgement, and storage of Manufacturing Data Records (MDR)
• Prepare and develop tender proposals and estimates for projects.
• Prepare project planning documents for the execution of the project.
• Maintain effective communication with HBT departments to ensure project resources are best managed and allocated to achieve timely completion of the project within budget.
Knowledge & Experience
• Underground Mining Experience essential
• Developed Project Management skills and experience, including, estimating, planning, delivery and reporting preferably using MS Projects
• Preference for an electrical background - Trade or Degree Qualified.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen and ability to maintain the integrity of complex quoting templates.
• Excellent numeracy and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
