Swart and Sons are a multifaceted industrial services company based in Adelaide. Our heritage division urgently requires skilled solid PAINTERS for ongoing work.
Requirements
* Operating a variety of equipment, including blast pots, spray guns, rotor stator pumps and dry spray pumps – both safely and environmentally friendly
* Mixing paint/coatings to desired colour and consistency
* Ability to apply all types of coatings (e.g., epoxy, polyurethane) using various application methods
* General construction industry training (white card)
* Work autonomously and as part of a team, as required
* Understand surface preparation and finishes
* Be able to understand and complete works to specifications
* Be able to mix two-part paint coatings to correct ratio
* Select paints, varnishes and stains for various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers
* Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness
* Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces; erect scaffolding and ladders
* Cleaning equipment and work areas
Salary
Between $75,000 and $80,000 per annum + Super
