Core Lithium has now reached Final Investment Decision (FID), marking the official restart of the Finniss Lithium Operation and the next phase of growth. As we power back into production, this is an opportunity to be part of recharging a critical operation at the center of the global battery supply chain.
Our preference is to build a long-term, Darwin-based workforce, offering residential drive-in, drive-out roles that allow you to be home every night. We also recognise the value of broader talent and welcome applications from candidates open to relocating to Darwin (with relocation support available) or those considering fly-in, fly-out arrangements. About the Opportunities
We are seeking a Mine Surveyor to support mining operations across our Finniss sites.
Reporting to the Mine Manager, this role will work in a back-to-back with the Senior Surveyor, providing survey support across both open pit mining at Grants and the development of the BP33 underground operation.
You will play a key role in ensuring accurate spatial data is provided to support safe and efficient mining activities, working closely with production, geology, and geotechnical teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct set-outs, pickups, and survey control for mining activities
* Maintain and manage survey control networks across site
* Provide accurate and timely survey data to support production
* Support volume calculations, reconciliation, and reporting
* Work closely with mining and technical services teams
* Ensure compliance with site standards and survey best practices
* Assist with maintaining survey equipment and systems
About You
You are a capable survey professional looking to contribute to a restart operation with long-term underground potential.
You will bring:
* Relevant qualifications in Surveying or Spatial Sciences
* Experience in mine surveying within open pit or underground operations
* Proficiency with survey equipment and software (e.g. Leica, Trimble, Deswik)
* Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
* Ability to work collaboratively within a site-based team
* Commitment to safety and operational standards
* Valid Australian driver’s licence
About Core Lithium
Core Lithium is an ASX-listed resources company focused on the restart of the Finniss Operation near Darwin in the Northern Territory. With open pit mining at the Grants deposit targeted to recommence in May 2026, feeding the site’s existing lithium processing plant, and underground development at BP33 planned later in the year, the operation is entering an important new phase of production.
As part of this restart, Core Lithium is undertaking a significant recruitment campaign to rebuild the operational workforce across mining and processing. We are seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are Darwin-based or interested in relocating to the Northern Territory to join the operation on a residential drive-in/drive-out rosters, with relocation assistance available for suitable candidates.
