The Mental Health and Intellectual Disability Service (MHIDS) is a specialist short‐term assessment and advisory service which aims to improve the clinical outcomes for people with intellectual disability and mental illness.

$76,849 to $82,996 pro rata, per annum
The Role
The MHIDS team requires an Administrative Officer to provide high‐quality support to the MHIDS Career Medical Officer and the MHIDS Specialist Psychiatrist. The incumbent will:
* Work under the minimal supervision of the MHIDS Career Medical Officer (CMO) and the MHIDS Specialist Psychiatrist.
* Undertake a range of high‐level administrative functions for the MHIDS Services.
* Liaise with administrative staff, clinicians, patients and carers to arrange clinics.
Details of Appointment
Permanent part‐time day worker position working 38 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours are to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
For a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full‐time, part‐time and casual vacancies.

Salary and Superannuation
$76,849 to $82,996 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
Essential Criteria
Current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration.
Desirable Criteria
* Current Drivers Licence.
