An established, high-end residential joinery business is seeking a Junior Estimator to join their growing team. With a strong pipeline of confirmed projects and bookings secured well into next year, the company is at a pivotal stage of growth and ready to invest in the right person.
This is an excellent opportunity for a trade-qualified cabinet maker/joiner who is either looking to transition off the tools or has recently done so and is early on in their career. Full training will be provided by an experienced director who has built a respected reputation in the bespoke joinery space.
The Role
This is a hands-on office-based role with exposure to both estimating and pre-production drafting.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the preparation of detailed cost estimates for bespoke joinery projects
* Interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
* Suppoting with pre-production drawings using Cabinet Vision software
* Liaising with the project and production team to ensure accuracy
Drafting involvement is pre-production only (not direct machine output), however experience with Cabinet Vision or similar software will be highly regarded.
About You
* Trade qualified (essential) - Cabinet Making / Joinery
* Looking to move off the tools into an estimating pathway
* Strong understanding of joinery construction methods
* High attention to detail and commercially aware
* Well-presented and professional
* Switched on, reliable and eager to learn
Commercial or residential background considered - what matters most is attitude, trade knowledge and willingness to develop.
