MG Motor Australia is seeking a Regional Business Manager to drive sales performance, fleet growth, and dealer engagement across an assigned region. This role is responsible for delivering regional sales, profitability, forecast accuracy, and customer experience outcomes, while acting as a key commercial partner to dealerships and fleet customers.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership
Drive sales, profitability, and customer experience targets across assigned dealerships
Provide strategic and tactical support to align dealer performance with national objectives
Contribute to regional strategies and campaigns to grow market share and brand awareness
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare weekly regional performance summaries and reporting inputs
Ensure daily order intake reporting across all regional dealerships
Finalise monthly dealer forecasts, achieving accuracy within ±10% variance
Monitor competitor activity and develop insights to support sales and promotional initiatives
Review enquiry, test drive, and order intake data to support underperforming dealerships
Support monthly LAM plan submissions and complete dealer visitation reports
Dealer Engagement
Build strong relationships with Dealer Principals and management teams
Act as the primary point of contact for dealership matters and issue resolution
Conduct regular dealer visits, providing feedback, action plans, and performance improvement initiatives
Respond to dealer enquiries regarding stock availability, accounts, and logistics
Fleet Management
Deliver business plan objectives across assigned fleet accounts and identify new conquest opportunities
Act as the primary representative to fleet customers, managing end-to-end sales, ordering, and delivery
Engage dealerships and internal stakeholders to support opportunity development and execution
Maintain and grow relationships across fleet segments including Government, Corporate, Rental, FMC, and Small Business
Manage multiple stakeholders with a high level of customer visitation across all sectors
About You
Commercially driven automotive professional with strong regional and fleet experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in the automotive sector (OEM, dealership, and/or fleet management)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Automotive Engineering, or related field (postgraduate desirable)
Strong commercial acumen with proven analytical and forecasting capability
Ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive sales and profitability
Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools
Experienced in developing compelling business cases and customer proposals
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven track record of delivering regional sales performance and fleet growth through collaboration
