This Maintenance role is an exciting opportunity to join our team at one of Australia's leading poultry processing plants.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery
• Ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in accordance with our standards and systems
• Working closely with our Maintenance Manager, Plant Manager, and other supervisors and leading hands
• Carrying out maintenance work in line with our operational and compliance requirements
We're seeking a proactive, trade-qualified professional with a hands-on approach and strong teamwork ethic. To succeed in this role, you'll have:
• A relevant trade qualification (e.g. Fitter and Turner, Boilermaker, Electrician) along with experience working in a maintenance team within a manufacturing environment, preferably within the intensive food processing industry
• Strong decision-making skills, particularly under pressure
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• A desire for long-term career development
• Full Australian working rights (citizenship or permanent residency)
You'll also bring a mechanical mindset, a commitment to safety, and the flexibility to work across rotating shifts—including weekends and public holidays.
