Grounds & Maintenance Officer – Tweed Heads

We are seeking an experienced Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team at our privately owned and operated holiday park in picturesque Tweed Heads.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces while contributing to a welcoming environment for residents and holiday guests.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of our team, you’ll help ensure the park is presented at its very best.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Landscaping, gardening, and maintaining the park’s grounds and gardens
* Routine maintenance and inspections across the village
* General building repairs and upkeep (including painting and basic carpentry)
* Maintenance of tools, equipment and machinery
* Pool care including cleaning and water testing
* Assisting residents and guests with a friendly and helpful attitude
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, practical and takes pride in maintaining high standards. You will ideally have:
* Proven experience in grounds and maintenance (holiday park or village experience highly regarded)
* Ability to work independently and use initiative
* Practical experience with equipment such as ride-on mowers, trimmers and general hand tools
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
* Good communication and people skills
* Solid organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
* Understanding of workplace health and safety practices
* A valid NSW driver’s licence
Formal qualifications are not required, but hands-on experience is essential.
