THE PRACTICE
* Working hours are based on 8 am – 4:30 pm on weekdays. This is very flexible.
* Patient & staff parking is available.
* Choose your appointment times; you have full clinical independence.
THE OPPORTUNITY
* You’ll be supported with full nursing coverage.
* Allied Health support is available.
* Skin Cancer, minor procedures, women's health and chronic disease management GP sub‑specialties are in demand.
* Likely earnings $250,000–$300,000 before tax each year.
DUTIES
* Examine patients and take their histories. Order laboratory tests, X‑rays and other diagnostic procedures.
* Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
* Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
* Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases.
* Advise patients and their families on health care, including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention.
* Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
LOCATION
* DPA/MM3, Kalgoorlie, is a vibrant regional city of 40 000. There is a shortage of General Practitioners.
* Visa sponsors will support permanent residency.
ABOUT YOU
* This role will suit a General Practitioner who holds FRACGP, FACRRM, or a comparable specialist pathway qualification, including Partially Comparable, such as the MRCGP (Int).
