We have built an intelligent wholesale ordering, payments and growth platform for the food and beverage industry. This role and team
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales professional (based in VIC) with expertise in consultative selling and a true desire to help digitise the F&B industry by offering the best in category platform solution. This is a hunter-style role for someone who thrives in a scale-up environment and thrives on acquiring ideal customers to build and growth a profitable territory
This role sits within the Supplier department, reporting into the Head of Sales managing the sales team who are dispersed across states. Our head office is in Sydney with a smaller office in Carlton, Melbourne.
This role has the pleasure of meeting with suppliers out in the field so there is a requirement to drive and be happy meeting prospective F2F 3+ days per week.
What you'll do
* Build & execute a sales strategy for Victoria by deeply understanding the needs and pain points of the Supplier ICP (ideal customer profile).
* Accelerate sales velocity by helping Suppliers run their business more efficiently by understanding and unlocking the full potential of the Ordermentum platform.
* Identify, prospect and nurture key ICP accounts across our core and new emerging categories to develop robust pipelines.
* Build deep relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the suppliers' organisation to champion the Ordermentum platform for ordering, payments and more.
* Work closely with the suppliers to understand their needs and workflows to deliver a seamless sales experience by focussing on needs-based-selling and operational rigour.
* Meet and exceed sales targets by delivering a delightful experience in conjunction with onboarding & technical implementation specialists to create life long partnerships delivering operational efficiency, financial health and growth for suppliers.
* Work collaboratively with our Product Technology and Customer Service teams to scope integration solutions to meet the needs of suppliers.
* Develop annual sales plans and quarterly forecasts driven from the analysis of sales, customer and market data.
* Be the Supplier's voice in all internal meetings, sharing key insights and emerging requirements with cross functional leads.
What you have
* 5+ years experience in Mid- Enterprise Key Account selling in B2B SaaS
* An entrepreneurial spirit for driving strong revenue growth and hitting and exceeding financial goals
* Experience fostering effective working relationships, quickly building rapport and engagement amongst SME owners and C level and cross functional leads to develop long-term trusted partnerships and deliver best in-class solutions to your customers
* Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach to identifying key challenges and finding solutions
* Strong technical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively with Product and technical teams to contribute to the creation of technical solutions to support complex processes and system integrations
* Formal training or certification in recognised sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDICC, MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, or similar, with demonstrated application in complex, enterprise or strategic sales environments.
* Proficiency in CRM to accurately and consistently forecast sales activity in a timely manner
* Demonstrated commercial acumen and strategic thinking that enables you to use industry and supplier trends analysis to deliver business results and identify key sales opportunities
* A genuine desire to support and collaborate with other team members and share insights and best practices
