About the Role
Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role will focus on surface facility design and providing critical technical support, including communication and coordination with design consultancies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead surface facility design activities and provide hands-on technical support.
- Coordinate and establish communication with design consultancies to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct critical reviews, design reviews, and HAZOP participation to ensure robust and safe engineering outcomes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers where required.
- Perform detailed and incisive engineering reviews, ensuring high standards of technical accuracy and compliance.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 10–15 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong experience in Coal Seam Gas (CSG) projects.
- Must hold RPEQ certification.
- Proven experience with critical reviews, design reviews, and HAZOP studies.
- Comfortable delivering thorough, decisive engineering assessments.
