Vinnies Shops
Our Vinnies shops are a well-established part of the Aussie retail landscape, serving as both a community resource and a retail destination for quality and thrift items. The shops generate revenue to support various community services and may also be a first point of contact for those seeking emergency assistance.

As a Retail Volunteer, you will play a vital role in the shop's operations and contribute to the mission of the St Vincent de Paul Society NSW. Your tasks will include:
1. Providing customers with an excellent shopping experience
2. Sorting and pricing donations (basic, fashion, designer)
3. Assisting with product display
4. Processing sales at the POS (cash register)

2. Willing to work within the ethos of the Society
3. Respectful and flexible in their attitude towards work and team
4. Good at time management and proactive in completing tasks
No prior experience is necessary as in-store coaching and training are provided. We welcome those with retail or hospitality backgrounds to share their experience with fellow volunteers.
Benefits of Volunteering with Vinnies
Volunteering offers opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals, build friendships, and gain retail experience. Your contribution will bring a sense of satisfaction knowing you are helping those in need and supporting a meaningful cause. It is also an excellent way to share your skills and talents.
Our volunteers are essential to the success of our Vinnies shops and help us achieve the goals outlined in the St Vincent de Paul NSW's Strategic Plan.
