A rewarding seasonal opportunity is available for laboratory professionals to join our team at the Barossa Winery, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The position involves conducting routine analysis on grape, juice and wine samples using various laboratory equipment while maintaining accurate calibration and data records to uphold quality control standards.
Key Requirements
* A minimum of Year 12 Chemistry or a related science field qualification
* Prior experience in a laboratory environment
* Familiarity with the winemaking process would be advantageous
* Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant computer applications
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
* Good organisational and time management abilities
Candidates will have the opportunity to work with world-renowned wines and develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This role requires flexibility and willingness to work up to 6 x 8 hour shifts per week, with the potential to work up to 12 hours per day.
