Our thriving warehouses (we have 5 in total) are seeking Forklift Operators, to play a pivotal role in the smooth-running of our warehouse operations. The Forklift Operators roles will be on a casual basis, with the view to become permanent. The warehouses are located in Brooklyn, Derrimut, Laverton North and Truganina.
You need your own transport to get to this warehouse.
Your Role:
* Loading and unloading of Linehaul trailers, local vehicles, and inbound containers
* Loading a range of general oversized products and freight
* Inbound receiving and outbound dispatching
* Moving pallets around the warehouse
* Meeting loading and unloading deadlines whilst maintaining safety and zero damages
* Manual handling
* Order picking if required
* Assisting with the other warehouse duties as needed
* Working with the warehouse team to ensure accuracy and high standards of service are always maintained while complying with our OH&S policies
To be successful, you must have:
* Physical Fitness: Ability to safely perform repetitive heavy lifting of up to 25kg.
* Essential Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
* Forklift Expertise: High Reach Forklift experience is essential (please note: this is not a Counterbalance-only role).
* Bonus Skills: Experience operating an Aisle Master is highly regarded and will be a major plus.
* Team Mindset: A motivated, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Safety First: A strong, proven commitment to safe work practices.
