Key Responsibilities
* Anticipates and attends to the guest's needs and desires immediately.
* Services and cleans allocated rooms to the highest standards within the allocated time.
* Replenishes and controls guest supplies.
* Reports to the Supervisor any maintenance needing attention.
* Follows all Housekeeping policies and procedures to the standard set by the Executive Housekeeper.
* Takes extreme care with personal grooming in order to maintain a consistently high level of professional appearance.
* Informs Housekeeping Office immediately of any unusual, different or abnormal situations seen in or around the hotel.
* Reports any potential health and safety hazards to the Supervisor.
* Greets hotel guests in a polite and courteous manner, being careful not to confuse friendliness with familiarity.
* Attends monthly departmental communication, training and information meetings.
* Complies with all of the hotel's standard operational policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Handbook.
* Has a full knowledge of, and practices, all of the hotel's established workplace health and safety guidelines (WH&S).
* Gives assistance to other departments or outlets when required.
* Carries out other duties as directed by the Executive Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisors.
