It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.***Moreton ATSICHS operates a growing network of healthcare clinics for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Our model of care provides holistic health and wellbeing services to support our Community across their lifespan. We bring together primary care, allied health, dental, mental health and wellbeing, maternity and early childhood, disability services, specialist services, and aged care as one team focussed on clients' individual needs and goals.The Staying Deadly Hub aim to provide comprehensive assessment treatment and assertive outreach support to clients presenting with moderate to severe mental health needs. Working in a unique multidisciplinary care team as an extension of the IUIH comprehensive model of care to provide appropriate and responsive care to clients would otherwise not access support or require inpatient care.**About the role**As the Business Administration Officer for our growing Caboolture Staying Deadly Hub, you will be one of the first points of contact for our newly established team based with additional responsibilities including provision of efficient administration and service coordination to contribute to the objectives of our services as well as providing responsible support for mob seeking mental health care.Your day to day duties may include:* Perform with limited supervision a broad range of administrative support functions including organising forms, photocopies, files, orders, program materials and educational handouts; and make reminder calls for visits as requested.* Maintain accurate and confidential records and statistics of daily activities.* Support an environment that fosters teamwork, cooperation, respect, and diversity.* Assume responsibility for ensuring efficient and productive use of calendars.* Coordinate room bookings and facility management tasks.* Work closely with local manager, key local support staff and Outreach providers to assist in trouble-shooting issues which may arise in the course of service delivery.* Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of referral and follow-up pathways between local clinics and Multi-disciplinary service providers.* Check eligibilities and ensure referrals are in place for clients accessing multi-disciplinary services.* Coordinate patient registrations and maintain patient contact details.* Ensure Medicare item numbers are processed within the MMEX where relevant.* Meet and greet clients and visitors to the clinic and the provision of a high standard of customer service.* Monitor referral and recall system for Multi-disciplinary service providers to ensure patient's continuity of care is maintained.* Perform general word processing duties including typing letters, agendas, minutes and reports.**About you*****To perform this role it is essential that the incumbent is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.
