Position: Retail Manager
Location: 67 Coulson Street, Blackbutt QLD 4314
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Minimum 38 hours per week)
Salary: AUD $70,000 to $80,000 + Superannuation per annum
Our client Gurbani Capital Pty Ltd T/A Blackbutt Fuel and Tyre is a regional retail business operating an automotive, convenience/fuel service facility, serving both local customers and regional travellers. They are looking for an experienced retail manager for the store.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations of the store and ensure all service categories are running smoothly.
* Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure effective business performance.
* Oversee compliance with WHS, fuel retail regulations, food safety standards, and relevant legislation.
* Maintain workplace safety systems and ensure staff compliance with WHS procedures.
* Manage staff rostering, supervision, training, and performance monitoring.
* Recruit, onboard, and develop staff across all service areas.
* Handle customer service operations, enquiries, complaints, and service standards.
* Manage stock control including ordering, receiving, storage, rotation, and inventory tracking.
* Liaise with suppliers and vendors to maintain stock availability and supply chain continuity.
* Monitor sales performance, analyse data and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
* Prepare budgets, financial reports, and daily cash reconciliation of transactions.
* Implement pricing, purchasing, and promotional strategies to maximise profitability.
* Ensure accurate POS operations, record keeping, and inventory reporting systems.
* Oversee equipment, store presentation, and maintenance of service facilities.
* Ensure consistency of operational systems including pricing, product range, promotional activities, and delivery policies across all areas of the store.
Mandatory Requirements
A successful candidate must have minimum comparable AQF Diploma or higher in relevant field and 1-year full-time experience.
