The Country Chef Bakery Co. is seeking an experienced Assistant Brand Manager to join our team in our Bells Creek facility on the Sunshine Coast - Queensland Australia.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & NPD, the Assistant Brand Manager will be supporting the development and driving the implementation of the product/brand marketing strategy for the Country Chef product portfolio.
Specifically, you will:
* Support execution of brand initiatives and campaigns
* Assist with packaging, labelling and artwork development
* Ensure brand guidelines and regulatory requirements are met
* Coordinate POS materials and product samples as required
* Analyse sales data, market trends and competitor activity
* Assist with product lifecycle activities: launches, renovations and rationalisations
* Maintain product information including pricing, specifications and packaging details
* Assist New Product Development (NPD) projects through stage-gate process.
* Support the development and execute the go-to-market strategies for new and existing products – including development & implementation of multi-channel brand campaigns.
* Support and develop internal and external presentations (incl. internal reports, retailer range review presentations).
* Coordinate cross-functional activities necessary for the implementation of agreed projects.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
* Minimum 2+ years' experience in product, brand or trade marketing, ideally within FMCG or food industry.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel).
* Excellent multi-project management skills with proven record of managing projects, including NPD launches.
* Proven record of managing marketing campaigns.
* Experience managing 1-2 marketing campaigns minimum to demonstrate campaign execution capabilities.
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
* To roll up your sleeves and get involved - on the factory floor, at trade shows, liaising with agencies, customer interactions. This is a very diverse role!
