This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, supporting families with children aged 0–6 years through health promotion, early intervention, and immunisation programs.
You'll play a vital role in monitoring child development, supporting breastfeeding, and connecting families with essential services—all while gaining hands-on experience and building your professional capabilities.What You Will BringIdeally the successful applicant will have the following:AHPRA registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse and MidwifeCurrent enrolment in a postgraduate Maternal & Child Health Nursing coursePassion for child development and family wellbeingStrong communication and documentation skillsUnderstanding of Child Safe Standards and relevant legislationWillingness to obtain International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Immunisation Provider certificationAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary teamSensitivity to multicultural and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communitiesA current driver's licence, police check, and Working with Children CheckOpportunity InclusionsPart Time Temporary employment up to completion of the qualification.
Hours may be negotiated.
3 days paid per week working 96 hours over a four-week work cycle.
Unpaid placements are also required to meet requirements of University/ANMF.Access to the Study Support Program.
