What You'll Be Doing
* Leading the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements
* Providing strong educational leadership to support high-quality programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
* Building and maintaining a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture
* Supporting, mentoring and developing educators to achieve best practice outcomes
* Overseeing staffing, rostering and workforce planning to meet operational and ratio requirements
* Managing enrolments, occupancy and service sustainability
* Maintaining strong relationships with families, the local community and key stakeholders
* Leading continuous improvement initiatives, including the Quality Improvement Plan and Assessment & Rating processes
* Ensuring a safe, inclusive and child-centred environment at all times
* Providing a child‐safe service where children are truly paramount in all decisions – it's about embedding a culture where every action, policy, and interaction prioritises children's safety, wellbeing, and rights
What We're Looking For
* An approved early childhood qualification, such as a Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated experience in a leadership or senior role within early childhood education and care
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards
* Proven ability to lead, support and develop teams
* Sound understanding of regulatory compliance, staffing ratios and operational requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for early childhood education and supporting positive outcomes for children
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Child Protection Certificate
