Theatre Assistant Role
We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of a Theatre Assistant.
* Assisting clinical staff with daily tasks and responsibilities
* Preparing theatre areas for surgical procedures, including setting up equipment and supplies
* Transferring patients safely and efficiently between theatres and recovery areas
* Cleanliness and organization of operating theatres
* Manual handling tasks related to theatre operations
This role requires excellent communication skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.
You will need:
* A Certificate III or IV in a relevant field or AIN Certificate
* Minimum one year experience as a Theatre Assistant or similar role
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently
* Excellent patient service focus
* To be available for various shifts across a 7-day rotating roster
