Leadership Opportunity

The position of Team Leader presents a unique chance to spearhead a team and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.


Key Responsibilities

* Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's mission, model of care, case management framework, and practice guidelines.
* Provide expert leadership for team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Ensure timely allocation of referrals to consultants in accordance with organisational KPIs and activity plans.
* Oversee office environments, including safety, routine maintenance, and functioning equipment and ICT systems.
* Manage local fleet vehicles, ensuring effective utilisation, tracking, and reporting.
* Approve delegated brokerage and travel requests in line with financial delegation and policy guidelines.
* Maintain the wellbeing and safety of team members through proactive management strategies.
* Nurture key stakeholder relationships with support from senior leaders.
* Provide regular reporting on staff performance, service quality, operational performance, and issues to regional managers.
* Recruit team members with relevant skills for specific roles.
* Effectively manage customer complaints or challenging situations, notifying regional managers and head of national programs as necessary.


Requirements

* Possession of tertiary qualifications in Nursing/Allied Health or a health-related degree.
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge in supporting older people and carers living with dementia, focusing on psycho-social approaches to case management.
* Able to manage and support skilled professionals across multiple sites and locations.
* Exhibits a strong customer service ethic and attitude.
* Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
* High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong planning and organising skills, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Effective customer management skills for delivering services to external customers.
* Strong administrative and computer skills.
* A current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel intra- and interstate.
* Empathy and patience.
