iVEGA GROUP is looking for a Software Engineer with web development skills. Location: Suite 2, 1 Horwood Place Parramatta, NSW 2150
Experience: At least 2 to 5 years of overall experience and 1 year of relevant experience. iVEGA Group PTY Ltd is an Australian based software company and develops and designs IT solutions for the clients. The client is seeking a motivated and technically sound software engineering in a full-time permanent role to join their team in an on-going capacity for developing and implementing technology solutions.
The client is seeking a person who is a dynamic self-starter with excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think outside the square to solve complex software issues to create operational efficiency. You must hold a Bachelor Degree. In this role your main responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
* Interpreting specifications, technical designs and flow charts for software applications
* Creating and enhancing software solutions to automate various business processes in freight forwarding domain
* Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods
* Participating in solution design, develop the software, evaluation and system configuration activities to ensure the requirements are met
* Building, maintaining and modifying the code for software applications
* Constructing technical specifications from a business functional mode
* Ensuring consultation with relevant business stakeholders regarding key information
* Designing technical solutions for complex software modules and integrating end to end
* Evaluating system program needs, writing and maintaining program code
* Analysing gaps in existing systems and to provide technical solutions that meets business expectations
* Developing applications and adding or modifying functionality of the existing software applications
* Testing and writing technical documentation, end user documentation and operational procedures
* Providing technical solutions for performance issues identified in system testing
* Improving user interactions with functional and useful designs
* Ensuring consultation with relevant business stakeholders regarding key information
Skills
* Coding/technical knowledge on respective tools
* Ability to use open source technologies and tools
* Should be able to work across with diverse teams
* Business orientation with strong IT background
* Sound working knowledge in Cloud systems
* Ability to work under pressure and undertake multiple concurrent tasks
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment against tight deadlines
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
