Maxlife Care is an autonomous, nongovernmental, for-profit organization providing general and specialist nursing care, personal care, and domestic support to the disabled population with complex care needs residing within the community. Maxlife Care was created to bridge the gap between disability support and mainstream medical care. Founded by two doctors with over 60 years of experience supporting people with complex medical conditions and disabilities.We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse who is passionate about the care and medical needs of complex care participants in the community.The key purpose of this role is to undertake a variety of general nursing duties under the direction of the Head of Clinical Care, including client assessment, medication management, care planning/review, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure appropriate care in accordance with Maxlife Care’s mission.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Operations Team to achieve clinical strategic objectives.Promote continuous improvement to uphold, exceed, and maintain standards of care.Act as a role model and mentor for supervisors, team leaders, care workers, and colleagues.Develop and review protocols relevant to clinical practice.Provide clinical training to ensure staff competence and deliver education to front-line workers.Attend to participants/clients to deliver specific clinical care/interventions (e.g., wound care, suprapubic catheter care, skin care, tracheostomy care).Participate in client meetings as a representative of the clinical team.Review incident reports with the Head of Risk and advise the Chief Medical Officer of related issues.Qualifications & ExperienceRegistered with AHPRA with no restrictions.Postgraduate qualifications in relevant fields are advantageous.Minimum 2 years’ experience in a clinical role.Experience in community nursing.Current driver’s license.Strong focus on person-centered, exceptional care and quality outcomes.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage change and respond to client needs effectively.About UsMaxlife Care provides premium disability and aged care services led by a team of dedicated doctors, supported by experienced support workers.
