Job Description
Austal, a global shipbuilder and maritime technology partner, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional to support its Naval Shipbuilding Programmes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with stakeholders to assess sourcing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain inventory management systems and ensure data accuracy.
* Develop relationships with key suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to optimize supply chain operations.
* Provide input to supply support reporting requirements and manage issues through supplier corrective action processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* At least 3 years experience in supply support or logistics.
* A formal qualification in trade or logistics management would be highly regarded.
* Strong knowledge of asset management standards, systems, and processes.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
