Job Description
* Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT-related goods and services.
* Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure value for money and quality service.
* Prepare and evaluate tenders, proposals, and bids in line with procurement policies.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favourable terms.
* Ensure compliance with relevant procurement guidelines and regulations in the healthcare sector.
* Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
* Provide advice and support to internal stakeholders on procurement-related matters.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Specialist - IT should have:
* Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in IT procurement within the healthcare or similar industry.
* Strong understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
* Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
* Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
