We are currently seeking applications from Telehandler Operators for a role with our client specialising in the production and distribution of animal feed, located in Adelaide's western suburbs, commencing ASAP on a casual or permanent basis with ongoing work available. Working hours are 7:00am to 3:00pm with availability required for infrequent weekend work. The ideal candidate will come from a distribution, warehousing or industrial background, with strong experience operating telehandlers and forklifts in fast-paced environments, along with a positive and hard-working attitude.
Duties will include:
* Operation of telehandler and forklift for loading and unloading trucks
* Entering and processing delivery dockets and similar paperwork
* Washing crates in an industrial washer
* General housekeeping and tidiness
To be successful for this opportunity you will ideally have:
* RIIHAN309F – Conduct telescopic materials handler operations ticket
* LF forklift licence
* Experience operating non-slewing telehandlers, minimum 3-ton vehicle
* Experience operating forklifts in a distribution background, with oversized loads
* Experience with distribution processes and inventory
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills
* Comfortable working alone
* Ability to pass a full medical and national police clearance
* Availability to work 7:00am-3:00pm shifts, with availability for infrequent weekend work
* Reliable car and licence
* Full working rights and availability
* Proven reliability and work ethic
