Based in Sydney, this permanent part time (20 hours per week) opportunity will provide you exposure to in-house paralegal work, supporting senior lawyers in a unique and varied role.Our legal team is a close knit and high performing team. We have a proven track record of investing and developing our Paralegals and are confident that this opportunity will provide you with the tools and skills required to develop your career as a lawyer.Whilst no two days are the same, here are some of your areas of responsibility:Support the APAC and Latin America legal team to develop compliance policies and procedures.Perform legal research and analysis of legal issues across APAC and Latin America.Review, draft and revise a range of commercial contracts (including, but not limited to, confidentiality agreements, consultancy arrangements and service agreements).Support the review of promotional materials across APAC and Latin America.Provide litigation support to the APAC and Latin America legal and compliance functions.Assist with due diligence when the business is entering a new foreign market in the APAC and Latin America regions and/or when appointing a new third party business partner.Maintain company secretarial records for all subsidiaries across APAC and Latin America.Manage workflow for the legal and compliance function, including opening new files, closing files and entering data into the file management system.About You:As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers.
