You will manage accurate entry and exit transactions for customer vehicles at the Katoomba Waste Facility, ensuring all data is recorded correctly in the weighbridge system. You will guide customers on site entry conditions and operational processes, while identifying and resolving any transaction issues as they arise. The role includes handling payments with accuracy and integrity, as well as coordinating vehicle movements to maintain safe and efficient traffic flow within the facility. Strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment are essential.
We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented team member with strong customer service skills and confidence using computer systems. You’ll be calm under pressure, able to solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly. Experience in cash handling, traffic control, or waste operations is desirable, with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.
Hours of work are:
Thursday 7:30am - 4:15pm (8 hours / 45-minute break)
Friday 7:30am - 4:15pm (8 hours / 45-minute break)
Saturday 9:45am - 2:15pm (4.5 hours / no break)
TOTAL: 20.5 hours per week / 41 hours per fortnight
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $33,055 gross per annum
+ adverse working conditions allowance of $1,599 per annum
+ 12% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
