Client Service Associate Role Overview
This position is part of the growing Application Service Group within the New Accounts Department at our Sydney office.
The ASG team works closely with Interactive Brokers' retail and institutional clients, delivering high-quality client service to sophisticated clients, including high-net-worth individuals, financial advisors, hedge fund operators, corporates, and other broker-dealers.
* Respond to inquiries and concerns from clients via in-person meetings, phone calls, email, and online messaging.
* Research and resolve a wide range of client questions related to the account opening process, ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Manage multiple tasks with strong emphasis on anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) requirements while handling incoming client queries.
* Learn all aspects of the brokerage platform and policies to offer compliant solutions addressing client concerns.
* Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
* Identify, analyze, and escalate complex issues as needed.
