A new opportunity has arisen for a suitable individual to join a global Automotive brand in the position of Logistics Coordinator.
In this full-time, contractposition, you will play an importantrole in co-ordinating aspects of the Compound Operations and Outbound Logistics - from vessel arrival, compound build, transport and distribution, including Company Cars and Direct Sales.
You will be responsible for driving the effectiveness and efficiency of the total outbound logistics process to ensure quality & product integrity and customer delivery satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, strong computer skills, and a high attention to detail.
Primary Accountabilities
* Planning and monitoring of the 3PL provider and ensure Best Practice & Procedures are being used in processing vehicles.
* Processing of vehicles in a timely manner including: Local Fit, Transport and Delivery.
* Communication and quality performance (GLCR and wholesale measurement).
* Analysis and reporting of KPI performance by Vehicle Processing Centre and Local and Interstate routes for each Transport centre.
* Effectively deliver product to the market in a timely manner, in conjunction with normal business expectations including new product launches and special deliveries and programs.
* Maximise product quality through processing and Distribution and measure, track and 'free from Defects' - monitor the performance of the 3rd Party Logistics provider in line with the contract.
* Coordinate the vehicle Quality Control process with 3rd Party Provider to ensure product integrity and control through transit to Dealership.
What You Need to Have
* Required: Must have working rights in Australia
* Must have good verbal and written skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Analysis Skill set, mainly in Excel and any other business Intelligent tools.
* Attention to details and Financial acumen.
* Experience in Vehicle logistics, supply chain would be highly preferred.
