Total Tools Darwin is looking for a Full Time Business Sales - Support person, who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for you to utilise your current sales skills and experience within a growing and diverse business. This position will suit a motivated individual who has previous sales experience working within a dynamic commercial or retail environment with solid growth. As our next Business Development support person, your role will be supporting the Business Development Manager in providing the highest level of customer service, quoting, and sales to current, new, and potential account customers to enable the store to exceed customer expectations and support meeting the overall store performance levels. What will you be doing? Quoting and responding to client enquiries. Building solid working relationships and developing rapport with key stakeholders/accounts. Liaising with, and finding solutions for current and potential clients Research and build relationships with new clients and suppliers. Monitor performance of sales for each account and assist in growing them. Assisting the BDM in achieving sales, margin, and product mix targets. Assisting BDM in all clerical duties. Does this sound like you? Experience Quoting Commercial Customers. Experience influencing and negotiating with trade partners Experience managing communication and distribution lists Strong work ethic and 'can do' attitude Organised with excellent time management skills Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail Comfortable with technology – computer literacy is a must, with a professional phone manner A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in the trade and industrial sector an advantage Why work for us?
