Sovereign Interiors are seeking an experienced and tertiary qualified Sales & Interior Design Consultant to join our passionate staff on a permanent full-time basis, developing a solid knowledge of the Sovereign Interiors product range.

At our Richmond, Melbourne Showroom, we are currently seeking an experienced Sales and Design Consultant. We are looking for an individual who is personable, proactive, and adept at engaging with customers to build strong relationships, ensuring the delivery of the best possible customer experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Showroom Manager.
- Achieve and surpass monthly KPIs by leveraging your negotiation and sales expertise.
- Coordinate with internal suppliers.
- Engage with retail and trade clients both within and outside the showroom.
- Utilise your creative design skills to craft luxurious interior spaces.
- Prepare comprehensive costing schedules using Excel.
- Develop and present client and team presentations.
- Ensure the showroom meets company standards.
- Oversee client and showroom installations.
Experience & Attributes:
- Tertiary qualification in Interior Design
- Strong experience with SketchUp, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop and Canva
- Advanced level proficiency required in SketchUp, AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop and Canva
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Experience working with luxury furniture and interior designs prefered
- Great sales and negotiation ability
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Keen time management and organisational skills
- Availability for a 5-day week, including some weekend work (rotated roster)
- Reliable punctuality and access to a car
- Full Australian working rights and permanent residence
