APPS are at the forefront of the transition, delivering multiple transmission projects across the country to facilitate connection of wind, solar and BESS projects to the network. We offer project delivery services, specialising in project management of design and construct substations and overhead lines in the transmission industry.
This role is open to all levels of experience, from graduates to people who have been delivering projects their whole lives. For the less experienced, the role will be based in a capital city with flexible working arrangements and for the more experienced we are happy to consider remote working. Both arrangements will require some travel to site. We think this is the best of both worlds, be based in a highly desirable capital city while still getting exposure to some of the largest energy projects in the country.
We don't take the term expert lightly however our focus is on building the go-to team of experts for transmission project delivery.
Responsibilities
Bid, develop and deliver high voltage projects from design to energisation
Ensure projects meet client, technical and legislative requirements
Maintain the highest level of client satisfaction while developing strong subcontractor relationships and industry connections
Provide high quality project management solutions to projects in the $10-70m range
Assist site teams with problem solving to overcome issues while maintaining contractual obligations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, electrical or civil engineering or equivalent trade experience
Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Transgrid experience is highly desirable
