Our primary purpose is to provide independent and objective assurance of the effectiveness of the Group’s risk management, controls and governance processes. To ensure GA&A continues to support the business with insights and provides quality reporting to the Board, the team is continually reimaging itself and uses the latest in global technology.Do work that mattersThe Corporate Governance and Reporting team plays a critical role in ensuring GA&A delivers high quality and meaningful insights and reporting to senior CBA stakeholders. This includes the Board Audit Committee, and the Risk & Compliance and People & Remuneration Committees of the CBA Board of Directors, the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team Non-Financial Risk Committee. The team also facilitates close relationships between the Group Auditor and regulators, including the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).We’re interested in hearing from people who have experience in:Preparing and editing papers for Board / Board Committees and Executive Leadership Committees.Developing and maintaining key relationships with Senior Leadership Teams, and collaboratively working with these teams to develop risk-based thematic content for Board papers.Preparing agendas and materials for Group Auditor meetings with Board Directors, Regulators and other external parties as required.Qualities you will possess include:Expert written communication and critical thinking skills, with the ability to distil complex language into plain English, and proficient in writing Board reportsDemonstrated ability in building strong relationships based on credibility, rapport and trustHigh degree of resilience and aptitude to multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with a goal orientated mindsetInnovative and inquisitive mindsetAttention to detail and ability to drive resultsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneouslyWorking with CBA meansWhether you’re passionate about customer service, driven by data, or called by creativity, a career here is for you.
