Are you a hands‑on leader with a passion for operational excellence and safety? Toll Group is seeking a dynamic Operations Supervisor to join our team in Tomago, NSW. This is your opportunity to play a key role in driving performance, ensuring compliance, and leading a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
As the Operations Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of transport operations, ensuring service standards and contractual KPIs are met. You'll lead a team of drivers and schedulers, manage fleet and resource planning, and foster strong relationships with customers and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities And Duties
* Lead and allocate resources to meet service standards and operational targets.
* Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
* Drive safety‑first culture and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
* Manage fleet bookings, driver rosters, and operational communications.
* Mentor and coach team members to foster a collaborative and capable workforce.
* Conduct investigations, audits, and toolbox talks to maintain high standards.
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 5 years' experience in transport, logistics, or a related industry.
* At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of NHVR guidelines, Dangerous Goods regulations, and fatigue management.
* Excellent communication, planning, and problem‑solving skills.
* Proficiency in MTData, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools.
* Dangerous Goods handling experience and relevant licenses (including Driver's License and Unsupervised Handling License).
